For the first time at any Fringe, around the world, we are presenting TRUE STORIES OF THE PARANORMAL! My 17 years as a paranormal investigator and psychic medium with The Paranormal Explorers have added up to over 200+ stories. But on this one special night, I will tell you about mymost unusual and creepiest encounters!!
We are going to have an entertaining night, with the audience sitting in dim light and an infrared camera pointing at……the audience! So you’ll be able to see if there is something flying past you or your seat mate on a big screen TV. You never know what you’ll encounter in the dark. Crazy spooky!!
In 2012, The Paranormal Explorers started doing Ghost Dinners in Edmonton, Alberta. (Which is in Northern Alberta for all of you non-Albertans and non-Canadians). We had the dinners in a wonderful little restaurant called Two Rooms in the historic Dominion Hotel building. It is situated on the trendy Whyte Avenue on the southside of Edmonton. The restaurant itself is long gone with other venues replacing it over the years.

We started in the winter time and named our events: Dead Of Winter Dinners. We were able to do 3 dinners until some unforeseeable circumstances occurred and stopped the dinners.
The dinners are still available to anyone who would desire having them. These are the parameters:
Have a home, office or building that you can host a dinner in. (We do not supply the venue, you do)
Invite friends and family.
Have it potluck or catered. (We do not supply the food)
The Paranormal Explorers will give you the experience of a Ghost Dinner, enjoyed by young and old alike. Some ideas for your dinner could be a historic dress up; whatever era you decide upon. We can even do a séance if you are brave enough!!!
We will come in and set up our infrared video equipment along with a monitor on which everyone can watch paranormal activity on. Then we will talk about the world of ghosts and some of the creepy cases we have investigated! There will be a slide show of paranormal pics we have taken and people have sent to us.
Minimum: 6 people Maximum: 30 people (depending on size of room or location dinner is held in) . Contact us for more info, dates and price through this website.
It does not have to be winter time to have a ghost dinner, summer time is great because there are so many more venues you can get and create your own themed room for it.
There are quite a few cases we have had where a child is seeing something in their closet or under their beds. A boogie man. Something scary. And there has been on the opposite scale, children who see other child spirits who are friendly and want to play with them.
They have tea parties, long conversations and play time together. Some children want their parents to know about their “friends” and others keep them secret. People chalk it up to an over active imagination or a lonely child trying to invent a companion.
The “imaginary friends“ turn out to be spirits of departed children (sometimes adults) who are attracted to these living children for various reasons. Usually they’re child spirits waiting for their parents to cross them over and while they’re waiting, they have found a friend to play with. Eventually either the living or the dead move on and things change.
But unless the child is experiencing something frightening or upsetting, there’s nothing wrong with them being able to see and interact with spirits and parents should ease up on the thoughts of mental illness or made up stories by their children. In a lot of the circumstances, both the dead and the living need each other for that small period of time. Give it to them.
